Bloem was a project that was a solid 9 months of work. It was a personal project for my senior year of college as a BFA project. It was inspired by my love of paper products- I have always loved the feel and look of real printed goods. I wanted a range of products that were modern, fun, and bright. The word "Bloem" means "flower" in Dutch. I wanted my brand to represent the happiness flowers bring someone, the bright, colorful nature of flowers, and the way they grow in the sun. I felt it was a reflection of myself, and how I had grown through college and will continue after graduation. Bloem Paper Co. is a small shop of cards, invitations, wrapping paper, postcards, and recipe cards. I've always dreamed of opening up a paper shop, and this is just the start.
